Haven of Rest Orphanage Center provides a full range of support to the community ranging from
medical outreaches, community outreaches to community literacy centers. The Haven of Rest
Community Literacy Center is a place where community members, young and old, are invited to a world
of information readily accessible at their fingertips. 

Many people in the community have no experience
using a laptop or desktop. In this fast-paced technology age, being computer illiterate is a hindrance to
advancement. Haven of Rest developed the Community Literacy Center to address the community’s
needs by providing much-needed education and training skills to combat this problem. It’s creating a
safe place to learn, either at the community library or computer center. The center embodies the
mission of Haven of Rest Center, where no one is allowed to leave the same way they came.
